A morning safari on Biebrza Marshes in search of European Elk (Moose).
The trip lasts ca. 3-4 hours and starts before dawn.* Own transport is required (if not available, this can be arranged). The trip usually consists of driving in search of animals through the marshes and clearings of Biebrza Marshes, yet at some parts of year may involves walking at short distances (max. 4-6 km in total).
The starting point can be determined anywhere in the Biebrza Marshes area, but this should be consulted in advance.
Other species possible on such a trip: Red Deer, Roe Deer, Red Fox, sometimes Wild Boar and Wolf.
* There is also a possible option for an afternoon excursion (instead of morning) which is also a good time to look for Elk. In this case the trip ends after dusk.
